HR and payroll software for banks, insurers and lenders
Nexa People gives financial institutions one controlled record for every employee, across head office and every branch. Pay changes, staff loans and transfers go through approval before they take effect, nobody approves their own request, and access to salary data is set by role and enforced on the server.
- Approval before every change
- Staff loans on the payslip
- Access set by role

01Controls and approvals
No pay change takes effect until someone approves it
Financial institutions are used to maker and checker, and payroll should work the same way. In Nexa People, a salary changes only through an approved pay revision, never by editing the number directly, and backdated arrears are paid exactly once. Staff loans, provident fund withdrawals and advance vacation are requests that auto-approve or wait for sign-off, as you choose. Every payroll run moves from Draft to Processed to Paid, and salaries can be held until released.
- Pay revisions, loans and fund withdrawals routed for sign-off
- Staff loans paid out and recovered in instalments on the payslip
- Provident fund ledger built from every payslip, with withdrawals checked against it

02Branch network
Every branch on one attendance record
A bank or lender with a branch network needs to know who opened each branch this morning without phoning round. Fingerprint and face terminals at each branch push punches to Nexa People as they happen, with the templates kept on the device. Each day is judged against the employee's own shift, so a late opening or a short day shows up straight away. Branch staff on the road, such as loan officers and field agents, check in from the mobile app with location checks where you need them.
- Biometric terminals at every branch, synced on a timer or on demand
- Mobile check-in for field and recovery staff
- Headcount and attendance filtered by station, department and cost centre

03Records and access
Employee records that only change through approval
Employee data in a financial institution is sensitive and often reviewed. In Nexa People, profile updates, transfers and resignations are requests that go through up to five levels of approval and then write themselves back to the record, with the history kept on the profile. You choose which fields employees can edit directly. A permission matrix by module, form and action decides who sees salary and personal data, and it's enforced on the server, not just hidden in the screen.
- Six request types, each auto-approved or routed for sign-off
- Permission matrix by module, form and action, with role templates
- Records are never deleted; leavers are made inactive and can be re-hired

Every day
The rest of HR for a regulated business
Work that needs a clear record, in the same system and on the same employee profile.
Final settlements you can preview
When someone leaves, the settlement is worked out from live salary, leave balances and loans: earned pay, encashment, gratuity under your policy and any outstanding staff loan recovered. Nothing is saved until you run it.
Compliance training with completion dates
Run programs by category, including compliance, schedule sessions with internal or external trainers, and record who completed or dropped each one. Completion dates are stamped automatically.
Reports locked down by permission
100 live reports across HR, attendance, leave and payroll, including loan and retirement-fund ledgers. Each report has its own permission, and any of them can be emailed on a schedule.
Contract and document expiry alerts
Every morning, scheduled alerts check active employees for probation and contract endings and for ID cards, passports and visas that are about to expire, and every run is written to the alert log.
How it runs
How a pay period runs at a financial institution
From branch punches at the start of the month to a payroll journal finance can post.
- 1
Every working day
Branch punches arrive
Terminals at head office and each branch push punches as staff arrive and leave. Each day is marked present, late, short or absent against the employee's own shift.
- 2
Week 3
Requests are approved
Leave, corrections, loans and pay revisions go through their approval chains. Nobody can approve their own request, and the employee is notified as each one moves.
- 3
Before cut-off
Attendance is closed
HR runs the month-end close and the attendance summary is fixed. Payroll reads the approved hours, leave and flags directly, with nothing typed in.
- 4
Payroll day
Payroll is processed and checked
Nexa People builds a draft payslip for each person, with loan instalments, fund contributions, tax and deductions itemised. Finance reviews, holds any salary that needs a second look and marks the run paid.
- 5
After payday
The journal goes to finance
The payroll journal is mapped to your GL accounts and cost centres, previewed to check it balances, then downloaded or sent to your SAP endpoint. Reports go to finance on a schedule.

How HR software helps financial services companies
Banks, insurers and lenders run on controls, and their HR systems are expected to follow the same habits as the rest of the business. A change to someone's salary should be requested by one person and approved by another. A staff loan should be recovered on schedule without a clerk remembering to deduct it. A transfer between departments should leave a clear history. Nexa People is built around approvals. Pay revisions, loans, provident fund withdrawals, transfers and resignations are all requests with their own chain of up to five levels, and nobody can approve their own. Once approved, the change is applied and kept on the record.
Payroll in financial services carries more lines than most. Staff loans are common, provident or retirement funds need a running ledger, and arrears from backdated raises have to be paid exactly once. Nexa People pays an approved loan out on the payslip and recovers it in monthly instalments, with adjustments when terms change. Fund contributions build a ledger from every payslip, and withdrawals are only approved when the fund can cover them. Every payslip itemises gross, deductions, tax and net pay, and each run moves from Draft to Processed to Paid, with salary holds where they're needed.
A branch network adds a second problem: knowing who is actually at work. Nexa People connects to fingerprint and face terminals from ZKTeco, Suprema, eSSL, Hikvision and others, so each branch's punches arrive as they happen and are judged against each person's shift. Field staff such as loan officers check in from the mobile app, with location checks only at the moment of the punch. Reports can be filtered by station, department and cost centre, and the management dashboard shows a live in-and-out feed for every location.
Access matters as much as accuracy. In Nexa People, a permission matrix by module, form and action decides who can see salary and personal data, who can run payroll and who can pay it, and those permissions are enforced on the server. Every report has its own permission, and employees running self-service reports only ever see their own records. Records are never deleted: when someone leaves they are made inactive with their exit type and date, their login is disabled after settlement, and re-hire restores the original record with its history.
Finance teams also want HR data in their own systems without re-keying it. Nexa People maps payroll journals to your GL accounts, cost centres and SAP field names, previews each journal to check it balances, and either downloads it or posts it to your SAP endpoint. Any report can be emailed as a CSV on a schedule, with every run recorded in a history. The Nexa AI agent works with the signed-in user's permissions, asks for confirmation before approvals, payroll runs or deletions, and saves each run to a log that shows what was asked and what happened.
Nexa People is a good fit for banks because pay revisions, staff loans and transfers all go through approval chains, nobody can approve their own request, and a server-enforced permission matrix controls who sees salary data. It also covers branch attendance with biometric terminals and payroll journals for finance. Review it against your own policies before deciding.
Nexa People keeps a clear record of what changed and who approved it. Profile changes, transfers, pay revisions and loans are approved requests, the employee's history is kept on their profile, payroll runs move from Draft to Processed to Paid, and the Nexa AI agent logs every run. It does not claim any regulatory certification.
In Nexa People, an employee requests a loan through self-service and it auto-approves or waits for sign-off. Once approved, the loan is paid out on the payslip and recovered in monthly instalments on the following payslips. Loan adjustments change the amount or instalments, and any outstanding balance is recovered in the final settlement.
Yes. Nexa People uses a permission matrix by module, form and action, with role templates you can copy, and it is enforced on the server, not just hidden in the screen. Each report also has its own permission, and employees using self-service reports only see their own records.
With Nexa People, biometric terminals at each branch push punches as they happen, and every day is judged against the employee's own shift and grace time. Field staff check in from the mobile app. Reports can be filtered by station and department, and the dashboard shows a live in-and-out feed.
Yes. Nexa People lets you map GL accounts, cost centres and SAP field names once, preview each payroll journal to check it balances, and then download it as CSV or JSON or post it straight to your SAP endpoint with secure authentication.
Nexa People records employee and employer fund contributions on every payslip and builds a fund ledger from them. Withdrawal requests are only approved when the fund balance can cover them, and the ledger is available as a report alongside gratuity and loan ledgers.
Nexa People works out the final settlement from the employee's live salary setup, leave balances and loans: earned salary pro-rated to the leaving date, leave encashment, gratuity under your policy, any held salary and recovery of outstanding loans. You preview every line before anything is saved.
Yes. Nexa People runs training programs by category, including compliance, with sessions, trainers and venues. Each enrolment is marked enrolled, completed or dropped, completion dates are stamped automatically, and you can make feedback mandatory.
